They are supposed to process if there is a current hardship or a hardship that is upcoming that will impair or prevent the borrowers from making their payments in the future. For example, the borrower got laid off two months ago and has been making their payments using saving but that's all gone now.

Does anyone know if US Bank will process a short sale if the borrower in not currently in default? They have a definite hard ship but are not currently late.

James you are my hero :) She had someone call me within 2 hours of calling her and they acknowledged reciept of my packet and want me to email them the offer!! This is the quickest anything has ever happened with any bank! I sure hope they pay her good ;) I owe ya big time..thx again

I have a short sale in Southern Ohio but cant seem to get around all the 800 automated #'s to talk to the right person. I have my packet as well as an offer but have no clue where to send it and neither does anyone else that I have spoken to there. The homeowners received a call today from USBANK saying that they are going to start the foreclosure process. I have been told by the representatives there that I need to speak with the Litigation Dept located in KY. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to jump on here and put my two cents worth. lol.. Just closed on my U.S. Bank deal, and it went great. I dealt with the office out of Owensboro Ky. THEY WERE GREAT! Rozalynn Martin was super! THIS ONE TOOK from front to close, apprx. 4-5 months. They were super, and it was FHA. so it went very smoothe, even the BPO AGENT was great....Thank you Lord!
