Kylee ...what have you got to loose but :-) valuable time. do you like the Seller? If so, give it a shot (what goes around comes around, right?) :-) So , find out. No one else has answered. I say go for it and see what happens. ASK for it (Ben's motto) ;)

ooops..let me re-explain, may be more clear. This is a listing I am considering taking. Don't have it yet. Don't want to waste my time if it's going to 4close. Sale date is July 26th. I could have it on the market by Wed., but location and market considered....may not have an offer by the 22nd, about the deadline for getting the sale stopped. So wondering if anyone has gotten a sale stopped without an offer (as usually b of a wants a bona fide offer).
THANKS BRIGITTE

Sorry I meant 7 (JULY) 16th not 6 (june)

Kylee, I started reducing the price once a week a certain amount (you need to determine) until I had a hit. Buyer came up in price when investors countered and we are looking to go to settlement by the 16th......"god willing and the creek don't rise" :-)
Ask for an extension from the negotiator and the manager. I don't know how much time you have until the foreclosure date is set, but the negotiator can extend the date. Keep in touch with the foreclosure attorney. Give it a shot...you have nothing to loose

Can I segue subjects? Has anyone gotten a B of A f'closure sale stopped without having an offer from a buyer on the property? (I am the listing agent, or possibly soon to be, just not sure I want to mess with this, but the guy really wants his house sold).

Valorie/Oma - I had an extension thru to 6/16/10 and the HUD1 had all the numbers as if it closed 6/16/10 closing officer accepted that....we did that in order that we wouldn't have to submit another revised one.

Oma, Make sure you have a HUD1 that is for the date that you are sending it to th Closing Officer then make sure NOTHING changes!

Paola :-) Isn't it great when they actually pick up the phone.......and even call you back? Amazing! :-)

You have to have the "closing officer" assigned or his or her email address will not be in the link to send it. My negotiator sent me an email telling me who the c officer was and voilla, magically her email access link came up where the others are. I still submitted the HUD1 which must match the worksheet by the way, into the library and sent an email to all saying that it had bee submitted. they couldn't say they didn't get it in time.

Does anyone know why we sometimes get emails questions from someone directly in the email instead of "xyz has replied to abc - click on the link and go to short sale superstars? I don't see Oma S. Hoffman's email on here....?
Oma, BoA makes it easy for you....check out the email addresses :-) you can send emails to anyone on that list and ten to one her manager will answer you.
Enter the HUD1 at the top where it says Library and tell EVERYONE where you entered it.
