lol. The link is probably the wrong link. Have your seller try the second link. Let me know if it works.

My seller tried to log in with the username and password they gave her, but kept getting an error message.  I called Bank of America and they said they were having problems with the link.  They said that I could upload the seller's docs into the library.  Oh joy!  You may have to do the same thing.

Today my seller called BoA to get his password so he could enter all his info. He couldn't figure out why the link BoA sent him didn't work. In his email BoA wrote: Welcome to the Bank of America short sale processing system. Please go to www.BankofAmerica.com/ShortSale and enter your user name and password to begin.  I figured out the website is really https://shortsale.bankofamerica.com.  Needless to say now my uploaded docs keep on getting rejected and I am not an assigned agent in the system. This is going to be a long bumpy road if I ever get on it.

Nothing is paid to the seller/borrower. It will revert back to the lender.

Under the Settlement Agreements I've seen, the lender gets the proration. If the money matters, don't make the last payment!

I have a quick question for the HOA proration amount at the HUD. If seller is current for the monthly HOA and going to have a closing in the middle of the month as a short sale, can the seller/borrower get a check for the proration amount of HOA at the closing? Or the bank will get the credit for the amount of proration? Any commnets will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Bill,

I had the following somewhat confusing experience on this.

BofA/UTLS approved the sale via message and set equator to "green" closing, assigning me a task to upload the ARASS, stating the payoff and ARASS would be FedEx'ed to the borrowers.  Giving me maybe 8 days to complete the task.

But, it actually took 25 days for the docs to be send.  I completed the Treasury ARASS, but the task bounced back. They wanted THEIR ARASS form to be used.  I neded to "ask".

You fill out the form with fees to match the worksheet/HUD1, precisely, then the homeowner signs, and you submit.
