A while back we had the email address for Brian Moynihan floating around here but I think he actually changed it since then, does anyone have a new address or for someone in his area who can help with another nightmare deal!

What is your experience with Ocwen? After three BofA nightmares I now have an Ocwan cash offer. Hope it will be easier!

Damon - Thank you for being part of the group! Congratulations on your BOFA FHA sale!

I don't get on here and contribute like I know I should but I do get on here all the time when doing a short sale to find out what forms, contact numbers, and methods I need to employ in getting a short sale approved.

I just want to publicly thank both Wendy and Bryant for all of their help! I finally got approval on a BofA FHA Short Sale! It only took two contracts and 10 months!

Amiee, ask the negotiator how long this BPO is good for and send him something in writing that is concise and to the point proving your challenge of the present BPO. ONLY the facts :-)

Yes, follow Joe & Brigitte's advice. If you have enough time, one of those will work. When you email your negotiator through Equator, you might want to copy the team lead and escalate. I'm finding that some of the negotiators are new. Also, I'm advising my cients from the beginning that if we run into a BPO issue, they may need to pay for an appraisal. Sometimes it is cheaper and quicker than trying to deal with a bank that has an unrealistic idea of FMV.

Amiee, with BofA, it's a crap-shoot. Sometimes you just have to wait for the old BPO to die. The best is if you get a negotiator who can use his brain and is interested in "solving" the short sale - pretty rare. The next is to get a bonafide appraisal.

I have given them pictures, CMA's, Comments from prospective buyers, clear reasons why the BPO agent screwed up (basement damage/water/mold and she complained that she couldn't get in). Made no difference.

I seemed to get some traction by making them kill it and resubmitting - I assume because of a different negotiator.

Hope that helps some..
