Tweet works!  Posted not too long ago ago about a nasty bofa negotiator calling my listing agent and yelling at him on his cell phone (way outside equator guidelines)because she didn't like my constant follow up on status.  Don't see anything wrong with tracking my files!  With a foreclosure date coming and an uncivilized negotiator I tried twitter as a last ditch effort...and voila!  Got great assistance from Don Pierce who led me to management.  Sale date postponed and working with a new negotiator.  Thank you thank you thank you!  New and better energy working on this deal now...wish me luck :)

I have NOT gone back to re-read all of the strings below, BUT, know that B of A just hired more than 3000 new negotiators in April, and they are WAY WAY behind in training them.

 

Getting a FULL 6% commission - you should be able to do this 9 times out of 10 if you get to the right person on the phone (escalate through B of A, or contact the Investor on the note directly and "gently" explain to them that foreclosing over 1% is just dumb......again, 9 times out of 10 they will agree).

@Alan...my listing agent really was an innocent victim and has my back 100%.  This lady went outside of Equator Protocol to be abusive via phone...wasn't willing to do it in writing!  very very sneaky of her!  We'll get this done...all short sales close!  That's what I tell myself :)  @ Brenda I will do that right away!  We're all in it to win right! Thanks for the input folks!  This site has been a huge help to me!

Contact the BoA Twitter help group at BoA_Help.  Often they will have a senior escalation negotiator take over the file.  At the very least, the negotiator suddenly straightens up her act.  :-)

I may sound a little brutal, but this is pure business. Tell your listing agent (maybe in a nice way) to grow some...wait...stand up for you! I don't know your total situation, but you seem reasonable with your deal and want to get it to close. I've gone above their heads many times, with good results. Work with the listing agent to get this done or have the agent support you (closing the sale is a common goal, right?) if you feel comfortable doing the heavy lifting.

Yes I've been trying to however now she's being unreasonable in the negotiation process...  wanting the buyer to pay $339,000 above the sales price.  I've confirmed with BPO agents and appraisers who primarily work that area/neighborhood that the offer we submitted is on target for the property.  Seeing as how she's not much of a negotiator and much more of a bad attitude I'm at a loss for what to do and get around her!
