I still have not heard that BOA or anyone is using Equator for FHA Loans.  So the information you received from they may or may not be correct.

@ Kevin, I'm taking an FHA listing this week with BofA Servicer- when I talked with the short sale department, they told me to put it through Equator. I've done a ton of short sales, but not this combination of FHA/BofA. What is the process with FHA?

Equator is not used for an FHA Loan.

Tony

You have to use a system called equator to start the short sale process.

Where can I find and download the paperwork for the seller to submit to Bank of America to initiate the short sale process?

Gabe,

In response to that new addendum, some Realtors are including a statement in their listing agreement that their commissions will be paid out of the proceeds of the short sale. That way it falls under "the terms of the listing agreement."

Just received my first request for to sign the listing agent certification document.  Is there any concern regarding item 1, which states:

"Bank of America is in no way responsible for Listing or Buyer Realtor / Broker sales commissions, since that is the sole responsibility of the property seller under the terms of the listing agreement."?

It is my understanding that commission is paid from sale proceeds and the lender only agrees or approves for it to be paid.  Anyone have knowledge or experience to share?

The same thing happened to me Pacita.  They not only closed the file in error they said I was not assigned to the file even though they had my listing agreement AND ratified contract in their system. There was a huge glitch in their system (which they sent emails about).
