You might be best-off to bite your tongue for now.....   You certainly don't want your file finding it's way to the "black hole"........

Have a BOFA negotiator that didn't like my follow up on a time sensitive short sale (foreclosure date in July).  Instead of responding to my Equator msg she actually called my listing agent on his cell phone and YELLED at him!  I think I should report her.  I can even post my equator email to show it was completely professional and polite.  What are your thoughts.

Thank you for all the input! Honestly, I'm much more apt to follow your advice than theirs. The person I spoke to at BoA clearly didn't know what he was talking about to begin with, or to even know what the FHA application was, let alone other documents, despite my explaining it was an FHA loan. I'm not certain they do a bang-up job in training their employees....

Also, they were not allowed on Equator last year, but maybe FHA allows them now.  CAll back and ask again.  Anytime I've dealt with an FHA loan, it had to be faxed, no matter what Bank it was.

I also have done several FHA short sales with B of A successfully by following the requirements provided by Thomas Zdanowicz.

For now, send them an addendum with the verbiage in the SS Requirements and that will take care of it.  This is what I have done with a listing - just added an addendum.

Good Luck.

Hey Guys, this may help.  I got this from a Bank of America rep some time ago and I have followed it with each B of A FHA short sale I have done.

B of A FHA SS Requirements

Follow it to the letter (especially the required language on your listing agreement) and you will save so much time.

Also,  I completed about 5 B of A FHA short sales and none have ever been through Equator.

I have refused to sign it twice and the deal went through on one and is closed, on the second they agreed to waive it.

Thank you Kevin! I appreciate the link. In regard to the new Real Estate Certification... If you are about to close a deal, and have already sent them a listing agreement without the new clause, does anyone have suggestions to get around this? Is it possible to just refuse to sign it?
