Don Duft:  My very good source at BofA says "No" they are not suspending approvals.

Good luck!

And please send your BofA Las Vegas referrals my way. :-)

I received an approval from B of A on Friday, 12/2 at about 5pm CST.

I too searched the web and saw nothing to that effect. With all BoA push to promote their enhanced SS processes I do not believe it true. The agent who told me is possibly using that to steer her Buyer away from my BoA SS in favor of a faster closing REO property is my guess.

@Don Duft - I have not heard anything about this and just did some looking around on the web and couldn't find anything new.  That said, nothing would surprise me .

Can anyone confirm or deny the rumor that BoA has suspended SS approvals pending an audit?

Do you have to be current to qualify for HAP? Also if your client is eligible with HAP and also eligible for HAFA short sale (imminent default due PCS), which one would you recommend and why?

thanks Jodie and Kevin.  I will do what you suggest but I just wonder why the negotiator did not tell me we could do this. Now the short sale is declined and I have to start again with another offer. I hope we get a new negotiator who can tell me of this solution.  That link is very funny and true!. I will try to send it to all the negotiators with a high BPO.

Up late and then early.  There never seems to be enough time in a day.  Have a good one Superstars!

Hi Catherine

I am also working late gearing up for tomorrows battles.

Comment by Catherine Gheen on November 29, 2011 at 7:11pm

I am glad to know I am not the only one who is up so late every night.  I would love to know how many of us in this group are up until the wee hours of the morning working on files to be ready for the next day's battles????

I had to comment also there are laws the Appraisal Institute has in place in regards to agents who do BPO's that are above the market value.  I know this discussion topic rears its ugly head every 6 months or so.  The Appraisal Institute also has a legal team in place to help you with your bank you may be fighting.
