Alton I've run into a few errors with WF lately.  In the past they've been good at getting things straightened out. I'd give it a little more time.

Hello all, I am open to any suggestions with my situation, I have done several short sales as the listing agent with 100% closure, currently have a short sale contract on the buyers agent side, Wells Fargo, Only one lien, no second, submitted 70 days ago. Only response from the bank was a letter sent to the seller telling them that the offer had been rescinded(which was not true),listing agent says that was error on bank part and it was cleared up. Attorney handling for the seller/listing side. Anything to speed this along, buyers are already looking at other properties.

Michael that's correct. It is the first time I've had them loose docs so I was quite surprised. I'm hoping they find them....where did they go and who's file are they in, is my question. I don't want financial info floating around nor would the client.

Unless this has changed (I haven't use Wells Equator for a few months), Wells uses Equator as a "'pass through portal".  No docs are/were retained on Equator, I was told, for security reasons.  They go directly to a Wells server.

This can make the uploading of docs a complete nightmare.  Because, you can't be sure that you and the processor are looking at the same docs.  And we can't check to be sure we uploaded the "right" one.

This was a Wells decision, not Equator, I'm sure.  No way Equator would have recommended this.

Tni yes they've told me they take them off for security reasons. Somebody most likely lost of misplaced them. You know me....dog o the bone with details!

Hi Anna - When I upload documents for Wells in Equator they always swipe them.  BofA and GMAC they stay there and I can go back to them.  I think their reason was space or security when I asked why, not sure though.  But, that seems silly for them then to deny they got them.  Kind of takes the benefit out of using the Equator system.  Tni

Wendy it showed completed - that's what's odd. It's like they disappeared into thin air....kind of like faxes do.

wouldn't that show as an incompleted task (if you did not upload the docs)?

Wells Fargo thru EQ is different than the other servicers

Has anyone had WF lose docs after they're uploaded through equator?  That just happened and I am sure I uploaded the docs - certain of it!  They declined file saying I didn't upload. I did escalate. I'm just wondering if this has happened to anybody before.

Brenda- I was given her name as a good POC by my broker but she did not have her position in WF.  I am not sure who got the ball rolling for me, if it was Deborah Waldrop or Tamara Swain, but one of them (or both?) got things moving - the right person called me and worked very hard to help me get things back on course.  :o)
