Like ANYTHING on a short sale....it is ALL negotiable.....each and every document they present is open to negotiation if you dislike what you are presented...

I have a short sale (VA) with Wells Fargo and have not seen an addendum like that.....yet

Please send me a copy also, because I have a hard time believing they can do that. We attempt to get them the highest and best offer (market value). In Virginia we do not have a fiduciary responsibility to the Seller anyway, never mind to the servicer. The servicer does not hire us, the Seller does. I agree Mark. I've just worked with Ted on a short sale. He is Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy all wrapped in one. But they won't approve 7% on every loan - we tried....However, they paid off most of an HOA lien of $10,000 so I wasn't complaining. And yes - he is only Wachovia.

BINGO -- sounds like Ted is a GREAT guy to know....when you can reach persons like this, the ONLY thing they care about is:

How much is the offer
What is their NET
When can you close

get them these numbers and things get done....

Here in Ca. Ted Blaisdell is theVP short sale, mgr. very aggressive getting deals done in 45 days almost no docs, he pesonally contacts each borrower, commissions up to 7% with $ 5000.00 relocation money.

Yeh appraisal done on my WF short and now waiting for them to give us the sale price- homeowner not in default and initiated SS with WF themselves. Hope we get a low price and a quick offer and a close!!! Buyers are lurking waiting for a price to be set by lender. This will be my first WF and so far - smooth!
