Just remember cash deals do fall under RESPA guidelines and funds can be paid however and whenever. Maybe this will help.

'I can not let a house go to foreclosure for $472.00' - Neither should Citi.  Escalate there.

Id ask a lawyer how I can pay $472 to 2nd lien where it legally does not have to be on the HUD. Im interested in how you eventually solve this.

I have the same issue with Freddie Mac, they won't allow seller to transfer $2500 BofA Coop funds to 2nd lien for approval, and LCS for Chase won't let the seller keep the $2500 and needs it for 2nd lien approval. BofA will cancel if 2nd lien doesn't comply with Freddie Mac's $6K max to 2nd lien, any ideas? Foreclosure Friday.

I need some help. I have a short sale with BofA the 1st and Cit the 2nd, Submitted a HUD to BofA giving Citi $4,500 (10% of what is owed), BofA approved. Citi rejected saying that there is insurance and they need $6,472.00 to close. BofA says this is a Freddie Mac loan and the max the investor will pay is $6,000 and also no one else can contribute. Citi says tough we want the full amount.

I can not let a house go to foreclosure for $472.00.

Any ideas

Just spoke with Citi HELOC - the FAX for 3rd Party Authorization is 866-675-5772. The HOST.citilink - does not work for Authorizations.

Citi told me yesterday [email protected] has a size limit of 10MB.  If you have an email of an associate you may Cc them so they know it is coming- they won't do anything though until it is uploaded through the host email.
