Did you all see Kathy's post on a Wells Fargo foreclosure issue? But then that was Fannie Mae....maybe it depends on who the investor is? What do you think? Their SS may be assigned to negotiators according to investors (i.e. Fannie, Freddie etc) and THEY dictate according to set guidelines whether or not a SS will go into the foreclosure bucket permanently...any thoughts?

I have had a short sale that I have been trying to get done dince July +/- ... the latest response I got from W/F was in their "super secret" secure email system that said "two months" .... anyone have a clue???

I just got off the phone with Wells. We've been waiting to hear whether the investor would postpone the foreclosure sale. I was told that Wells Fargo has a new policy for all short sales that they will not postpone a foreclosure sale unless there is already full approval from Wells and the buyer can close within five days of the scheduled trustee sale. WOW!! I would guess that Wells won't be doing very many short sales from this point forward and for the most part for only those who are making their payments. They are punishing those who can't (or don't) make their house payments.

Help with Wachovia!!! I was just informed by a negotiator at Wachovia that they do not postpone foreclosure sale dates....Period....No exceptions. She declares this policy was mandated the end of July. Fact or Fiction? If so, have you had success in skirting the policy and getting a postponment?

I'm working on a Wells Fargo short sale. There is only one loan - and it is Wells. The investor is Freddie Mac. The negotiator requested that the investor postpone the foreclosure sale eight days ago. Wells tells me that we just have to wait to get a response from the investor. The sale is scheduled for September 7. Does anyone have any experience with a simlar situation with Wells and who I could contact at Freddie Mac? Thanks.

Although I was not successful in stopping a Trustee Sale this morning, I was able to speak to a couple of Wells Fargo (Fannie Mae only) supervisors and one manager. Finally I spoke to someone that knew what they were doing! Here is their contact info:
Leah Gambel, Supervisor (803) 396-4340
William Bieber, Supervisor (803) 396-6295

Kimberly Valdivia, Manager [email protected]
(She called me back, so I was not able to get her direct phone #)

Hope this helps someone!
