I have an Affidavit matching Jim's from about six months ago... FNMA was the investor.
Jim, who are the major short sale agents in your area? call one of them and ask who closes their files.
Michael, I have seen several different versions of short sale affidavits, this is the first i have seen of this one

Our MLS does not have the bank name in any search field and looked through several closed SS's and none of the agents put the banks name in the listing.
Gwinnett county has had almost 900 SS closings since May 1st.

The original closing agent waited 3 weeks to object to the document leaving us to deal with it 3 days before closing!!
I'll deal with him after I get it closed.

To The Negotiator... Which article of the constitution does this affidavit violate, just curious more than anything. I have not brushed up on the constitution lately :)
Shayna, I agree 100% with you.
Jim Crawford, surely there have been wells fargo short sales closed in Lawrenceville, check MLS and call the agent that closed one and ask for their attorney info.
We can spin words all that we want, I will sign this all day long if "to the best of my belief, knowledge, research, interpretation" I do not see any of those items being violated. AND I would go in front of a judge and raise my right hand after signing the document, no issues here. If an agent has an issue with simple addenda like this then I would suggest steering clear of short sales and REO.
