Hello everyone,

This is my first post ever :o)

Here my situation I have a short sale First trust IndyMac second trust Green Tree. GT has transfer the loan to the recovery department even though I had it approve for 6k for the full release of the loan.

Now I have a new negotiator, and he is asking for 19k :|  . I don’t know what to do! they are SoooO! rude! When I told him that  we were trying our best to get him the 6k , now getting 19k is going almost impossible, he said “ I don’t care” :|

Any subjections???? Did someone ever had the same situation??

HELP HELP !!!!!!!! :(

Just received approval on a GreenTree second less than two weeks from submission for 6% of the balance.  Great resolution after a rocky start (had to send the 3rd party authorization in 3 times)  .

I was having the same issue with Green Tree saying they were closed during normal business hours.  I ended up calling another # 800-258-9230 and was transferred to the account rep after entering the loan #.  She has been trying to help me.

This is the second time I have called green tree in the last 10 days and their office is closed. It is 11:44 am EST. The last time they were closed it was 244 pm EST. How is this possible?

How long should it take to get a response from fannie mae once GT submits a file to them?  I have been waiting about 2 weeks.  GT is very unresponsive and I feel like I am in a circus working with them.  The offer was submitted to them 4 months ago!  Thanks for your input.

Last week, I called the corporate offer as Ben B. suggested and was transferred to the manager of my contact.  He assured me I'd have a call by the end of the day.  I received a call back in 10 minutes from her and the package was on her supervisor's desk within an hour.  I had the approval before the end of the day.  Prior to that I was stalled for over two months with promises the package would be submitted for management approval within a day.

Help, please.  I've called the corporate office as Ben B. suggested (twice) but they just send me right back to the same dept I've been working with. Have 1st and 2nd with GreenTree. Fannie Mae loans.  2nd is approved. 1st got lost in the shuffle so negotiator only got it a couple of weeks ago.  Foreclosure is this Thursday. It looks like they aren't going to postpone it (haven't said for sure one way or the other - maybe they just want to make me sweat). Have also tried several Fannie Mae contact ideas as seen on SSS but they say the postponement request can only come from GreenTree.  Any ideas?

No, they are not fun to deal with. Yes, they look at these threads (FYI). You just have to make sure you are talking with loss MIT and not the acct/servicer/rep. The loss mitigators have their own phone#'s. YES, it is hard to find out the contact. I do not believe making a payment benefits anyone or gets you to a better contact, though they tell you it will. That's their job... To get your seller to make payments. Mine was a 150k+ 2nd and no payments were made for 4+ months. We were never charged off and my seller never made a payment. You just have to get VERY creative with calls;)

Just reading the threads about Green Tree scares me. I am getting two short sale listings serviced by Green Tree next week. This will be my first time to deal with GT.  I have dealt with Chase, Bank of America, PNC, Wells Fargo, and some small banks. They have all closed. I have started calling the corporate office, but those prompts are all misleading. Wish me luck!!!
