Yupo gotta say I don't think I would ever take a GT 2TD either... again. The new laws in CA actually make deals harder to close. No 2Td want to give approval.. they would rather take their chances on a judgement.

Who is the negotiator?  [email protected]

I had a file with them and I would turn down another one in a heartbeat.

Especially if the loan had already been written off and it was in Recovery.

I like to take a day and call any extension until I get to talk to a good soul. I had a situation with this bank more than a year ago. I called different extensions numbers until I found an accountable soul. He asked me to wait and got the right person to approve the deal while we were talking and writing on the next day. I am out of my office today and tomororw but may have a name if you want to send me an email on Friday: [email protected]

Does anybody have a good contact for file escalation at Green Tree. I have an approved short sale, first lender is B of A, second is w/ Green Tree ($75,000). B of A is only approving pay off to GT of $4519.89, I know they wanted at least 10% or $7,500. Property is in CA, seller is covered by SB458- anti-deficiency law and no seller contribution allowed. GT has the file for over 2 weeks now. Negotiator assigned is not returning my phone calls. Can you please help? I think they are playing hard ball.

Oh, I should have mentioned this is a Greentree First, Investor not yet known (not fannie, freddie, or available on MERS, I've mailed in a QWR)

I have a short sale listing where the buyer is putting in an offer with a 2.8% closing cost credit. How is Greentree with these credits?

To JulieAnn, maybe that's why I couldn't get through either, nice to know, did you call another number to find out? It must be nice to not have enough work to keep you working all day, and here I thought most lenders, especially, short sale departments, were short staffed, I guess not.

Help gang!  They seem to have lost 177 pages of faxed package, only have the auth letter. They gave me an email to send it and that just bounced back with a statement that emailing confidential info is prohibited by GreenTree security procedures.  Is there any way to escalate this?  HELP
