Just closed my short sale that was approved by Aurora. Sent package and purchase offer on 9/9/2010, short sale was approved on 11/18/2010. Just approved, no negiotation at all which we expected some but got none at all. The note WAS held by Aurora and there was no second or other liens etc which is why it may have been quicker than others I have read on this blog. Dont give up hope so soon but also DONT be in a hurry, it will happen if its right but not on your time frame. Good luck! thanks for keeping this blog up, it helped me keep hope alive while I waited...and waited...and waited.

Anyone know how I can postpone a foreclosure? Any contacts at Aurora? Need help ASAP as the foreclosure date is on Monday and the underwriter hasn't even looked at the file yet.

NEW FORM! I have an Aurora short sale in process. I was told that there is a document missing. They need the Dodd-Frank Certification. I was told to google it, as it is not on their website. I found it, but I do not know how to upload it here. I would suggest adding this to your Aurora packages in the beginning,
