We've been working on a shortsale since March.  This is a $50,000 sale that they have countered and it is now at$55,000.  We have been going back and forth and since the Buyer is a LLC, they have made several changes regarding the signing of the participant of the LLC. We are hoping that they have finally gotten this on the right track and approve it already.  This one has taken longer than expected. I tend to think the negotiator doesn't have the experience to really move it forward.  Hoping…See More

"Sounds more like it's a dispute over $130 since the seller already agreed to pay half of the $260. You really shouldn't even be in this situation over such a small amount, just give them what they want and move on."

"Sharon, with all due respect, you should have NEVER let $260 stop a short sale, pay it and move on.  $260, really?  Pay it and move on, the seller will love you forever and you will be rewarded with many, many referrals."

Short Sale that needs to close

Our deadline date was 12/17.  We had an issue with Seller regarding transfer and disclosure feesamounting to $260. Buyer has refused to have the burden added to his side and would rather cancel than  proceed.  We asked Aurora to split the cost with us between the realtors and bankand the negotiator stated that it was OUT OF THE QUESTION, since the Investor was being FORCED to do a shortsale.  Can you believe this!!!!  If an investor doesn't do a shortsale does hehonestly think he will do better…See More
