How to find a referral agent

There are now three ways to find an agent to refer to.

***A referral is a real seller or buyer looking to buy or sell real estate. PLEASE do not use the email blast to tell others you will pay a referral fee. That is NOT a referral. It is spam. And it's not allowed.

First, you can type in City and/State in the search box that's there when you click on the new "Find An Agent" tab at the top of every page. But remember this search is only as good as the information that we enter into the site.

So please go to your profile and make sure you enter your State and city or cities. Just separate by commas and you can add multiple cities.

Secondly, if you are logged in to the site and place your cursor over the "Find An Agent" tab you will see a sub tab "Referral Map". Take a couple of minutes and add yourself to the map. This will link back to your profile.

Thirdly, you can send out a message to the members of this group. Just look right over there to the right and "Send Message to Group".

Hello everyone!!
I have over 20 years of experience in escrow, have had my license for a little over a year. I have successfully closed everyone of my short sales (knock on wood!!).
I work extremely hard and do all of the negotiating with the lender myself.

I closed the Chase deal....yeah. Eventually, the short pay lender and the buyer lender...both Chase....got together and were able to come to an understanding regarding the repairs. It was miscommunication...lol.
TIP: When you get the 3rd party authorization, get one for your escrow officer and buyer's lender. That way at the end of the deal, when HUD approval is needed and there are always errors/questions, escrow can call them directly.

I am currently working on 6 short sale deals at this time. I also work with a team. My Short sales are in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island New York. I am Short Sale cert. for over 3 years now. Kathleen....breath....... :-) that's normal. i would be surprised it they didn't do that. I had one with Chase and the appraiser had to revisit the property to see for himself and sign off saying that the repairs were done to his satisfaction...... :-) Breathe........ :-)

I will be kicking some today....Chase just told us they need to reinspect the property by another appraiser to verify that we did the repairs they requested.
I guess, work order, paid invoice and pictures JUST ARE NOT ENOUGH PROOF FOR THEM. JEEZ LOUISE! Don't you just love the smell of NAPOM in the morning!
