Hi ,
I am in the process of receiving equator training and the only options are paid options where I can choose between two designations. One is 60 dollars and the other one is over 400 dollars. I am not interested so much in designations as much as I am interested in being able to effectively use Equator.
Can you please share with me if you received certification with Equator and training and how the training was or was not helpful to you as well as did certifications add any extra business?
Also I noticed that we can sign up for nominal fee for certain zip codes. Has anyone found this beneficial or was it waste of money?
Thank you in advance for your answers

No. I learned equator on the fly. I never paid for training. It sounds like a great marketing plan to me to get your hard earned $$$ but I'd love to hear what others have to say.
Thank you Smitty.
It is always changing, so the training would be out of date quickly.
I learned on the fly also. There is a good group here devoted to Equator help on here, plus I have gotten excellent help when I just call the bank when something doesn't make sense. Files suddenly disappear, etc. You get assigned tasks, and you upload documents and respond to who writes you.
I'm going to put this in the newsletter today to see if we can get some more responses to your question
Thank you Bryant.
I am interested in responses to this question. I have thought of doing the same but not sure how I would benefit. Great question.
i have paid the nominal fee for years, no responses. never took the training either, and wondered the same, as the ad indicates that your name will go to the top of any inquiries in zipcodes..
@Kathleen below. Exactly. They are always changing the Equator platform.
Just trying to get some $ out of you..you just have to use it and keep using it, while incorporating their constant changes. Are they going to charge you every time they make a change to get "updated?" Ha!
Yes it is amazing how they are trying to squeeze money out of us.
I never took (certainly not paid for) any classes for Equator. I think I was on it before anybody figured out they could try to make a buck on selling something that's pretty easy to figure out.
Over $400 for one of the classes??
Let's guess on some of the designations here.... Hmmmm... CES? Certified Equator Specialist? CEE?? Certied Equator Expert??
Just what we all need... more junk designations.... Lots of Laughing...
