I waited for about 25 minutes this morning and when someone picked up I --it was Loss Mitigation. I asked about the Fannie Mae HAFA program and he did not know ANYTHING. He then transferred me over to the Short Sale Dept--I waited another 15 minutes and then my phone died. They could only transfer me and not give out a number...this is so frustrating.

Thanks, Kynse. After waiting for 25 minutes I hang up, dialed the 866-570-5277 numbr and pressed 0. Someone picked up immediately.

Jed-
Well, I finanlly got through. I was so surprised that I forgot to check on my total wait time. It was probably close to yours. I'm hanging in there with ya!

By the way, I have not yet received an approval from LBPS, so I cannot answer your question about the deficiency language.

Lisa,
I'm looking at my hold time as we speak. 34.5 minutes!!! No joke.
I feel your pain. In the beginning they were great. They've gone downhill big time in the last two months. I thought I'd never say this, but maybe MetLife isn't looking too bad. I've had our offers submitted since the second week of February and property listed for 13 months. Lets hang in there.

I am on hold with them at this very moment! I have been on hold for at least 10 minutes. I was promised that two BPOs would be ordered on August 8th, but still have not heard from a BPO agent.
When LBPS took over this MetLife loan, I was SO hopeful - this property has been on the market for fourteen months now. We can't keep buyers holding on when we can't even get a response from the lender.

Still no approval letter. It has been with there "closing" department for 35+ days (we have an approval, just need the actual document). Has anybody received a letter of approval. I'm wondering if they are automatically including the verbiage that they can go after the sellers for deficiency judgment?

I've also noticed the wait times on hold have gone from 5-10 minutes to 30 or 40+. Sounds like they got another huge block of loans recently.

HELP!!
We received final approval on a short sale and it was submitted to their closing department on JULY 13th, I was told it would only be 1 to 2 business days to get the written approval. I keep getting the run around and now the buyers loan has been ready (with docs at the title company) for a few days and WE'RE still waiting for the docs. My negotiator told me to talk to Ben Lahmers. I just talked to someone at LBPS and he won't give me Ben's # or email. He conveniently is "in meetings all day today" and my negotiator has the day off. Any suggestions? The buyers lender told me if we can't get this closed soon they are going to have to re-underwrite the loan. HELP.

Hello, does anyone have Jay's phone number and email address? I have an escalated issue that I would like to get resolved. Thank you for your time!

I just picked up a LBPS today. They bought a loan from Bank of America. They told my seller the short sale process time will be 30 to 60 days.
