Shannon,

I FINALLY spoke to the negotiator. It turns out when you call customer service they only have access to a limited amount of information and if the authorization doesn't get entered properly they won't have access to view it. But I just got news they approved our purchase price and we should have an approval by next week! YAY!! :) Thank you.

Looking for a supervisor or someone high up in the Chase department. The negotiator has not returned my calls for over 2 weeks now. When I call the main # for an update they keep saying I don't have authorization on the account. They then actually look at the authorization and see my name and say they need to upload it in to the system. What were they doing with it this whole time. And how could I have gone through 2 negotiators without a valid authorization (as they say it is). This is very frustrating, they will not transfer me to supervisors. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point. Please help.

I am going through the same thing with Chase. Faxed over package 4/20 and still have not been able to speak with anyone regarding file even though Chase reached out to sellers and offered them the Incentive Program to do a short sale.  I was just told to ask for supervisor and request another negotiator.  Sounds like this is code "you file has fallen into a black hole."

Call every 2 days asking for the call center to contact the negotiator.

Need some help and suggestions regarding a Chase 2nd ($68,000) that was discharged in BK. It is with a lawfirm- Shermeta, Adams & Von Allmen, P.C. They are working the file for Chase.  I need a "release of lien" and they have come back and said that Chase wants $10,000 for the release.  BOA is the 1st and they are only giving $3,000. The buyer is FHA and are willing to contribute a max of $3,000. There is a 3rd with Navy Federal Credit Union ($83,000) and they have given me an approval for $1,500. Is there anyone I can go to at Chase Recovery directly? Homeowner's of course DO NOT want to contribute!

Yeahh, finally her supervisor answer and she is going to assign another negotiator, she said that she will call me to let me know if we are missing anything on the file.

Hector, Chase was so good last year, but seems to have either gotten overwhelmed with files or cut back on staff.  My last file took 6-7 weeks for the negotiator to respond, but she has been great since then.

Yes, my experience also, Hector.

Chase seems very disorganized for short sales.
