After submitting a ss in early December and calling every week Chase finally transitioned it to Equator.  I was not notified that it was in equaltor and assigned to me until I called today.  Tasks assigned and already past due but no emails to me or any type of notification!

Could not find any documentation indicating what Chase wants submitted.  Noticed they required Buyer's SSN, birthdate and address which will be fun getting since most people are a bit concerned over private info getting into wrong hands.  No ability to save document for later submission.  Fill it out all at once and submit - too bad if system goes down, you get timed out if you take a call, etc.

If this is just the tip of what we will have to contend with I rather go back to manual submission.  The funniest thing was that the number that was listed on one of the messages to contact if I needed help was for Adkins Quick Weight Loss ordering....if they can't get that right what else will be wrong?

Ron same happened w/mine... I got approvals outside of equator though... Never through. You should get an approval notification w/letters then be asked to perform the task: Is closing on Time... Next Task will be to submit final HUD for approval (can't remember wording... And then Submit closing documentation. The closer still had me send everything to their closing email as well though (jax). It's a learning process for them right now and from what I hear they are working off several different programs. Best of luck to you!

I've seen my first Chase deal go into Equator, right after investor submission.  Fingers crossed as to how they do in Equator.  I asked a Chase rep where I could find info or tutorials and they advised live chat in Equator.  Tried that, Equator live chat advised contacting Chase.  Should be a fun little transition since neither one knows where to even find info on the rollout.  Yikes!

Stephanie, I love Chase and have had the BEST short sales with them vs. some of the others we have to contend with.  I'm so glad that you had a happy ending.

Quick update on my most recent chase SS! My client wanted to close before the end of the year in case the debt relief wasn't extended. My negotiator went on leave after she submitted for approval. 1 week in I knew something was wrong...she actually answered calls most of the time so I was able to get a cube mate to tell me she might not be coming back...I also was able to have her helper take my file over. That happened last Wed the 26th... Got approval letters (yup 1st and a heloc) on Friday... Submitted HUD after hours (east coast) but called in to escalations who forwarded my HUD to a manager for Mon am review. Monday am I woke at 5:00 to get approval. Had sign off from TWO closers who I wasn't even assigned to and did a special recording my noon! Cash buyer which made this possible but CHASE WAS FANTASTIC & understanding:D I was able to have the same negotiator for my 1TD and HELOC though the heloc approval came from another dept. Lots of hiccups but we closed in 2.5 months!

I'm in the midst of one added right at approval. It's trial and error between several systems. They don't quite know what is happening, I have approval, have the letters...but my equator still says awaiting approval. Fun...

Still waiting on approval letter and now agent is telling me there is a new Negotiator working on the file (she found out today and spoke with him).

It's the third one! Had to start all over in August with the 2nd one and it sounded like everything was approved, nego just had to sign approval.

Should I be worried? He asked today for contract extension addendum.

We are 8months in and its getting very frustrating.

Trying to get a Chase short sale approved prior to year end - first and second with Chase. Negotiator has been working manually and just moved it to Equator this week - earlier in week Status was "Awaiting Approval" and today it switched to "Pending Approval" - does anyone know if these specific words mean anything other than to keep waiting??

Thanks Tara I'm reassured.Hopefully we will get the approval soon. It's been 8months...

Gab - There is no such thing as verbal approval, and I wish agents would quit throwing that around.  What likely happened is the negotiator said yes the numbers looked good and it was being sent on for approval.

Completely normal for them to ask for seller's financials at any time they please.

You do not have approval until you get a letter.  It sound like you are on your way to it though.
