Does anyone have a list of docs that Litton needs for SS review and approval?  Also, is there is any kind of special Litton form(s) to be included?  ThanksContinue

I was able to get a new BPO with Litton when I proved that the agent had not entered the home (thru a satellite linked lockbox). The issue was the home was lovely from the outside but the urine smell was overwhelming inside. Once I got someone inside for a BPO, the value came back MUCH more reasonably. Hope this is of some help to someone, and good luck!!

Litton is EXCELLENT to work with, they are one of the VERY FEW servicers that gets paid to close short sales.....try their corporate number - 800-247-9727, or contact me offline for direct contacts, [email protected]

Hi, gang. New to the group.

I have two properties with Litton first mortgages and have never worked with them before. I see the various phone and fax numbers but which is the best number to call and get started. Have just gotten my signed authorization forms.

Appreciate the help.

Does anyone have a current good escalation contact with Litton? I'm trying to get the $1,800 fee lowered (see posed below). This happens to a great offer for Litton but they keep on insisting to punish the buyer for not being able to close on time (getting an appraisal on time for the new lender is the main
Appreciate any help
Thanks

I just got my approval in 5 days for a first and a second. They call them "combo" loans. The only negative thing I have encountered was that they will not pay more than 5% commission on "combo" loans. Of course I threw the "HAFA" in there that would come into play in April, but he would not budge. He was very nice, but said that he had no way to change it until then. If this company can do all of this as quickly as they do, there is NO reason another company should not be able to!!! I'd love to do all of their short sales in our area!

I also have a really quick SS with Litton (10 day turn time), only issue is now they want $1,800 to extend the closing for 10 days so the buyer can get the appraisal done for his new loan!

I cannot even believe how quickly Litton processes short sales. I just listed the house on the 5th of January as a short sale. All Litton wanted was a copy of the RLA, the purchase agreement and the HUD. No financials, no hardship letter, nothing. I just got my approval (at my price) and they want to close by 3/5/10! Crazy!
