I have a transaction that, for the last week, has been going through a 'secure mail' system. I was told to only use it for uploading documents and emails. And not to use the other system.
Has anyone else had any luck with this?
I still call for updates, but seems like the negotiator who has the secure mail, does not respond to any of my concerns. (And will only accept the 'secure mail', if I send via regular email, she sends an email back stating to use the 'secure mail'.

They prefer the use of Secure email (especially when you're discussing financial specifics of the short sale) but I've had them respond to either. I think it's really dependent on the Negotiator.
By using the Secure email, when you're not getting responses from the Negotiator WF should be able to verify that the Secure email was received. That might help toward getting an escalation if needed.
Hope that helps!
Have used both, the secure mail seems to be the norm now.
Hi Nancy,
My experience a few weeks ago was that the processor that received the secure email didn't (read?) or input it into the system. Mine too said to reply through secure email only. When over a week later, I got a note from the same processor saying they hadn't received documents, I asked my escrow company to fax everything in and then it was properly put in and recorded. They said that they've seen this before and always recommend doing both (Secure email and FAX).
use secure for all
