Negotiator or Supervisor not responding to email or phone calls

We had the short sale approved, but need an extension letter as we were unable to close due to the National Flood insurance Program lapse. Well, it has since been reinstated and we have been trying since last week to talk with someone about the new letter. We keep hearing that only the negotiator can reissue the letter and she seems to be out of office for who knows how long. Any ideas?

Evelyn, escalate to the negotiator's supervisor under the guise of "negotiator out of the office". That's a built-in, good excuse to ask for escalation - use it! Good luck!

OBTW: On all my Cite shorts, the negotiator's have always listed their immediate supervisor in the footer/email signature of their emails.
Kent, my negotiator has NEVER disclosed his sup! Plus I have asked. Plus now that I have a new negotiator, I asked him to keep me in formed on the auction date and I assumed they had stopped it....he is not responding. Told me I should have an apporval in one to two days. that was last Thurs. still dont have. I contacted Congressmen like I was advised by other investor. ( citi)They switched negotiator, however we are back to square one as far as NO communication! Dont understand this at all! I am so frustrated with tham right now. what do ya think?

When I needed to escalate with Citi, I emailed Bryan Bolton, who I believe is in charge of Loss Mitigation. He replied to me within 5 minutes.

Thanks Kent, for the contact!

This is the first time I have seen someone share a senior level contact on SSS. I know I have not read every thread, but I find it rare! We need to trust/help each other & do more of this.

I find Citi to be one of the most difficult to find good VP, SVP, AVP contacts for, and Jigsaw does not help that much as Citi is very compartmentalized.

In the past I have just gone to [email protected] or citimortgage.com and have at least gotten my negotiator to finally respond.

Anyways, thanks again Kent & good luck Evelyn
