I have an over full price, cash offer on a short sale.
We have 6 mo redemption in Mi.
Sold to HSBC in June11, 2009

Sent entire pkg to Orlens Servicing Co. who said they would get it to the right company. They were on the door.

Today I called and they said they sent to to Litton Loans.

They said they don't have the pkg or authorization form, We re-sent.

Litton loans is not using the same loan number as my clients had at WAMU.
They found it by the SS#

Question:
1) Should I send the package to WAMU? Who is now Chase?
2) Why does it have HSBC as buying back the house at the sherriffs sale on the county records?

I don't want to get the package everywhere known to man, But I am dealing with WAMU, CHASE, HABC and Litton all in the picture.

Offer is 75K what it shows HSBC bought it for at Sherriffs sale.

And this is ONLY the first lien.

Sounds like you are dealing with an REO Missy, the short sale got snuffed from right under you if you are sending packages to different banks. Contact HSBC immediately and see what they say.
It was bought but due to the 6 month redemption in MI we have 6 months before banks list. We can still and do sell short until the time is up. Thx.
Missy--personally I would send it to Litton too. I would be afraid to leave it to chance. :-)
I did send it to all of them, I think it will end of being Litton as the week has progressed.

Missy - It sounds like a real mess. I would be in contact with all of them because more often then not, it seems the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. So you may end up with different stories on where it should really be. Also, when contacting Chase regarding WAMU, do not take for granted that your paper work will stay on file. We ended up with 14 different fax numbers, they would say they recieved it and then magicly 2 days later would say it is not on file and and they could not even talk to us. Then we would be given a different number to fax it to. So follow up regularly or you may end up in the pit of dispare. They were in the middle of the transition when we submitting package so it was a hair pulling experience.
