Servicing Transfers to Ocwen
o Ocwen will honor all non-expired short sale approval letters issued by the prior servicer. An
approval letter reflecting the originally approved terms will be re-issued on Ocwen letterhead
when the loan is transferred .
o Short sales in process but not approved by the prior servicer will require an Ocwen short sale
package to initiate a new request .
o All Authorized Third Party information provided by the prior servicer will be uploaded as part
of the loan transfer process, so as to minimize disruption to the communication process.

Fellow Realtors; Just wanted to share a miraculous experience I had with OCWEN. I submitted a ss package on 8/5/11...they acknowledged via fax and email receipt of the short sale packe on 8/8/11. On 8/10 I called short sale number and was told by agent file was approved. I asked again to make sure i heard her correctly because of the slight language barrier and was told yes it was approved and that I would receive a short sale approval letter in a few days. I still could not believe it so I called on 8/11 and was told again by 2 different agents one being a supervisor that it was true. This morning, 8/12/11 I received a short sale approval letter with full release on an investment property no less! Unless this is a cruel joke I am beyond speechless. This is the way it should go with all the lenders. Supervisor told me that they have short sale teams that are evaluating the short sale packages and making decisions. Whatever new system they have it works! Anyone else experience this?

I just want to say THANKS for having the number Ron at Ocwen.  I have been fighting with Ocwen for months.  I called Ron and left him a voicemail and within 30 minutes has a call back from someone here in the US and she is going to help push the file to approval.  THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Thank you members of OCWEN group.

I was having issues faxing to 407.737.5071.

I emailed it to [email protected] per members suggestion

and received confirmation of receipt within 4 days via fax.

Now i have to just get them to postpone TS sale while we negotiate!

Attempting an OCWEN SS. Having issues faxing the packet to 407.737.5071

I emailed to [email protected] yesterday.

Has anyone else had an issue sending faxed packet and does anyone have alternative #'s emails to send or contact at OCWEN?

Update: I called Ron Faris's # listed here and left a message got a call back fro Jesna 2 hours later letting me know that a new approval letter would be emailed to me by tomorrow... Well I got it by 5 p the same day and closed in 3 days... While India was telling me it would take 2 weeks in management.... I am ready for my next Ocwen SS.....

This will blow your mind....It did mine.  I emailed Ron and Joan on Monday and just got approval on a short sale that was submitted on Tuesday.  It was scheduled for auction July 5 and we have a cash buyer who can close prior to.  I just opened the PDF from Ocwen with the approval letter from a negotiator by the name of Jesna. I have NEVER seen anything like it - Not sure what just happened: ))  Complete release of deficiency etc.....  Surely this is a dream.

Once I called Ron Ferris and left a message, it was smooth sailing with a very timely closing.  Although my negotiator normally did not do short sales, she was great!
