Anyone having BOA continues with Trustee Sale Date-even when they are saying no date will be set while Short Sale is in process?

Even updates via phone are not showing trustee sale notice, but it is there..I ck w/title & records.
Now I have them tell me ....zip,zero, then they are saying call 5 days before sale date to try and postpone...UGH

Well I'm in phase two of the process and there was TS schedule so I kept on calling the short sale department almost everyday during the last ten days prior to the sale, then they told me that they could not request the TS to be postponed until two days prior to the sale, indeed they postponed it exactly two days before, but I still confirmed the request with the TS company and there is another date set already within few weeks!!!
Bank of America may still proceed with the foreclosure while processing the short sale. If the sale date is set, you can get it postponed with a request only FIVE Days before the sale date. That is, if it is a viable offer.
They have the offer sitting there,,,and they say they will process to postpone, won't guarantee it, TS Company still says its active..Hope the offer is considered as it is within value and a clean offer.
They did postpone the TS for 2 months,,,and yes, they always say they won't initiate it until 5 days before the TS sale. Lets hope they approve the short sale so I don't have to get it postponed again!
[email protected] --- very helpful individual at bank of america
I had a TS scheduled for 10/23 and two days prior (they told me I had to call 2 days before the TS) I called everyone I could at Bank of America. Finally I got an email from my negotiator (first contact I have ever been able to make with him) saying the TS had been postponed. Well about 10 days later I got a call from someone to do a BPO. I called the tenant living on the property and she said another agent had been out to the property as Fannie Mae now has the property? I called the attorneys and they can't talk to me as I am not their client. I called Fannie Mae and they can't tell me much except that the sale went through on 10/23.
So I called the agent working for Fannie Mae and he later calls me back to say Fannie Mae wants to continue with the short sale instead of taking over the property themselves. Meanwhile Fannie Mae told the tenant they would pay her money to move out by next week? I went to the court house and there is no record of the Trustee Sale. Any advice?
I am curious. You say the TS company still says it is active. Did you call someone other than BOA? When you say TS do you mean Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac? I am wondering if there is someone else I should be keeping in contact with?

Karen,

Yes, I tracked down the Trustee company -listed on the county websites - or your title company can get it for you, then google their info if you have to. I also contacted the foreclosure dept at Bank of America.

We've had several Sale Dates postponed now in a same BOA deal - first couple just gave us 1 week. Now set for end of the month as we got a new "viable" offer - except they just declined it today! We got the first postponement in the nick of time- got the new offer in Thursday the sale date was for following Wednesday.
How did you get the contact information for the agent working with the Fannie loan? I need to postpone sale as well.
