Has anyone had success with being accepted into a HAFA short sale process with AHMSI? They have informed us that they don't participate in the program...

Anyone have a copy of an "attorney consent form". Apparently this is specific to AHMSI. We are weeks into a transaction - only 1 loan and we do have a bk that we working on. It will get done - with time. But they threw a curveball today with this new form. Now they will no longer discuss status of any type without it. Can only be ordered by the seller and they are gone for the holiday. Just hopeful someone may have this out in Short Sale Land.

FYI,

They are requiring use of their financial worksheet not any generic one you may have. Additionally, they require listing agreement, even if you are contacting them for the first time with a fully executed offer.

I just called the main# 877-304-3100 and got the name and extension # of my negotiator's manager. I asked for the Team Lead.

Does anyone have a contact for a "supervisor". I'm getting nowhere with my negotiator.

My AHMSI short-sale has been stalled for over 3 weeks because I am not able to get their verbal counter in writing. I was told today that getting a counter in writing is a "special request". Are you kidding me? Does anyone have an escalation contact?

I have a short sale with AHMSI and an 11th hour federal tax lien has reared its ugly head! Any advise or experience that may be helpful/useful would be greatly appreciated. They have already said they won't pay it.
Thanks is advance,
Brooks

Alisa, would you mind sharing the particular contract inferference and RESPA violation letter you used with AHMSI? They are trying to cut our commission and have not responded in the same positive manner so far.

I just spoke with my AHMSI negotiator yesterday. I had an approval, but it was only goood for 3 1/2 weeks. The buyer tried to get his financing complete, but we need an additional 2 weeks. They are saying that they will not request an extension and postponement of the foreclosure sale unless somone gives them a $5000 non refundable deposit! Has anyone heard of this? Is there a way to find out who AHMSI is servicing this loan for? Thanks for the help!
