Bank of America is saying our signed authorization doesn't match another signature in their "I Portal." I don't know what that is, so I asked if there was some way the borrower could view that signature so he could resign to match it as closely as possible. They've now rejected our authorization 3 times and we can't even submit our offer. We just sent over 3 separate documents that he's signed and circled his signatures and they are so obviously almost identical! Has anyone had this issue and/or do you have someone's name and contact number that we can call for assistance. Customer service is no help.

I just had that happen on one of mine. Buyer rejected counter, we had new buyer, so had to start over. They rejected mine. I re-uploaded the authorization and wrote in the comment section at the time of 2nd upload. I told them that they had accepted it before, and I just started over. They accepted it yesterday.
Take into account that the majority of BofA people who touch your file have issues with the McDonalds "extra fries" buttons. Most likely, somebody just started and wanted to prove his worth by seeing that this signature doesn't have the T crossed or something. Most of the time with BofA, you just jam it down their throat again and tell them that it is, indeed, THE valid signature. I suspect that 99.5 times out of 100 the next person will say OK.

I have not run into this one myself, but am going with what I see elsewhere - like rejected picture of the property because it doesn't have a house in it - and the property is a lot. The place is loaded with people like that..
I just had this happen again on another file that I just input. I put a note with my 2nd upload asking for someone to manually check the signature. Hopefully that will work.
