Hello Everyone - I have been working on getting a postponement to a auction sale date scheduled for next Friday Sept 10. They have had a complete short sale package since Aug 23. It has been escalated. I don't need the short sale approved, just the auction postponed.

Should I contact the Executive Resolution Department? Or is there another  way? I was just told that it is a Freddie Mac loan (but I will double check on that)

Check the Fredie Mac web site to verify it is with Freddie.

For auctions postponement - ALWAYS hit the executive office.

To be CERTAIN your file was escalated, ask them to give you the "escalation file nubmer"...ANY case that is excalated is given such a number.

This may come as a suprrise (only if you are new to short sales), but, negotiators WILL lie to you and tell you a file WAS escalated in order to get you off the phone......

Be firm, keep fighting.
If it is Freddie Mac call them asap and Executive Resolution.
Thanks guys - I have been on the phone with Chase for the past 7 days for about 15 hours LOL - calling Freddie as soon as I get off with this call to Exec Res. You know out of the dozens of people at Chase I have talked to, only 1 was unhelpful and acted as if they didn't care.
Thanks for keeping us posted. I am in the same boat :). FYI - If you have a negotiator assigned - send a fax to the negotiator. Customer service will give you the negotiators direct fax. That will go directly to his/her email. I communicate with all of my Chase negotiators through fax. They rarely, if ever, pick up their phones or give email addresses. Good Luck
Laura - I was able to talk to the loss mitigator today and she was able to fire off an email and get it postponed. Typically you can email them [email protected]

Also, if you can get to the short sale staging department they will be able to give you the direct dial number for the loss mitigator

Good luck
Thank you
