I listed a short sale for 7% commission.  How much will Chase end up paying to the listing agent and selling agent?  What is your experience with Chase on your short sales?

Who is the investor? The amount of commission paid just depends. While we have been paid as much as 8%, I would not count on anything more than 6 with Chase.
Jeff is spot on -- Chase is actually known as the "Servicer", the group that put up the cashola for your Seller to buy their home is known as the "Investor" on the note.

The Investor ALWAYS dictates commission amounts, and, we have seen anything from 5% to 8% paid......
Chase paid us 6% on 3 deals and 5% on the latest one so there is a luck of the draw involved. I do not thin there is much recourse, just take what is offered.
Chase cut the total commission from 6% to 5% on a non-HAFA ss of mine. Then, since I represented both sides, they cut the total commission to 3% just before approval.
