Fannie Mae is a Bit*&% when it comes to extensions. Escalate, escalate, escalate this thing to the top!!!

thanks! I willcontinue to do so. Is it too much to expect these folks to make decisions that make sense? I guess so, lol!

They made STUPID decisions when they loaned the money and now they make stupid decisions trying to cover the mess they made.

Call Fannie Mae and find out for yourself directly. Their # 800-732-6643 this is the main # and tell them your situation and tell them about the foreclosure looming, etc. and they will escalate you to a level 2 at Fannie. Make sure you have the address, loan #, homeowner, etc. and ask them point blank if this is true about that Fannie is not will to do an extension. If they say that is not true make sure you get a name at Fannie at the Resource Center and tell them what you have. Then call BoA at 703-386-5681 and as for the CEO's office and you will get corporate liason and make sure you tell them the whole story again and that you called Fannie Mae and that you spoke with ______ at Fannie and they will step in and help you. Hope that helps.

BofA (the VP of the short sale dept.) told me on Tuesday that Freddie is not granting any extensions either... I still kept pushing and got it in the last hour! Good luck :)

That is the same word that I am getting. I am sure that whoever is in charge of Fannie Mae REO is just doing a good job of protecting his job and wasting more taxpayer money. Until someone steps in and takes charge of Fannie and Freddie, this crap will continue
