Wendy--I'd love to help but my sole Carrington experience was a disaster that ended in seller filing bankruptcy almost a year ago (but they still legally have the house with HOA fees/fines accruing). I'd probably ask for $10k initially, but would think they would agree to pay at least $2k-$3k...of course it IS Carrington...
Ten percent of the 2nd lien or $6000 max is the usual. Hope this helps.
