Noel - it may not be postponed until about 15 minutes before the sale - keep checking and calling.

I HAD THE SAME ISSUE!  1 week prior to FC found out we were in the wrong dept and no one had authority to open this stupid template.  ESCALATE FAST!  You might not have enough time but contact everyone you can!  When I emailed, I briefed in bullet point all the mistakes and different information, summarized the hardship and humanized the poor elderly owners, pleaded they make this right and correct oversights and miscommunications that are occurring. 

If it's FHA - called National Servicing Center: 877-622-8525.  Have BAC give you the FHA case# and you have to send in their specific auth form.  469-647-4451.  Ask for HUD Escalation Team.  Get a Help Ticket number STAT!  Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac also have contacts I'd have to dig up.

Try [email protected].  Jim Weller most recently gave the B of A Webinar on FHA short sales...

I had issues to.  Contacted him and trust sale got postponed.

In addition to the above, have the seller sign an Authorization for you to talk to HUD and fax it to them immediately.  Takes 48 hours to upload.   I just had an issue with BOA on an FHA Short Sale that wasn't going anywhere and was escalated and escalated and no one was responding.  HUD told me I should have contacted them sooner.  Told me to call them right away when we have an issue with a servicer and they will investigate it.  Took 48 hours, but I got it resolved!  Call: 877-622-8525.

Success! The trustee sale has been postponed! Thank you everyone for the help and advice!

I was surprised by a phone call from Steve Fox of the B of A Social Media Team who saw my post and called me just a couple of hours after I posted it. He did a great job escalating my issue to the right people. Thanks Steve!
