We submitted an offer 3 weeks ago and it shows to be in HELD status. Every task is complete and shows as a generic negotiator. I have not done a WF SS through Equator and just want to know if this is good, bad, or doesn't mean anything at this point.
Thanks for the help...

Along the same line...I have a buyer in a WF ss...the list agent is processing through equator...one lien...we have not been assigned a negotiator, nor have there been any tasks assigned through equator...Does anyone have a good escalation contact??? I am tempted to suggest that they fax the dang package over as a non equator shortsale...we have been sitting here since November doing nothing...thanks in advance...jan
Jan- just closed a WF outside Equator. It went well and fast.
Held status during the first 30 days after you have completed all tasks is perfectly normal. What is happening is Wells is ordering a BPO, waiting for that BPO, and once they have the BPO they run internal documentation gathering like title pull and possibly an internal value review.
If you completed your last task inside the last week then I would wait before sending msg. If its been 2 weeks then I would send a msg asking for status update.
Thanks!
Tego, you might also want to pop over to the "Equator" group at Shortsale Superstars. There are some good explanations there that you might find helpful. Good luck!
Thanks Brenda.
