Have an Ocwen, (freddie investor). Tyypically I have found the people answering the phones (once you get to a live person) A little on the rude and "scripted side". At least today, I found out, I have a "relations Manager" (name) and had to schedule a phone appointment (next available July 10th, 2012)! I have done phone appointments before but not like, 10 days out!. I was just wondering everyone elses, experience lately!

Thank You Superstars!

Welcome to India.  Just hope they can get the time zones correct.

HA HA, I was wonder that, I did specify EST

Hi Beverly,

I just completed a short sale with Ocwen. Yes, had to go through the appointment thing. Make sure you have all of your questions written down so you don't forget anything while you have them on the phone. And don't miss the call.  Try to get an email address from them while you are talking with them. And schedule the next call.

Amy at least you are giving me Hope! I find Ocwen's phone people to be the least helpful or coopertive persons out there. Was yours a Fannie, Fredde, or "US treasury?

LOL. I had one a few months ago, and my appointment was scheduled 30 days AFTER the foreclosure sale date. I tried to explain that this would not help. They wouldn't postpone the sale and told me if I get a cash offer to submit it. I told them that the offer that I submitted 3 months ago IS cash !! They finally issued the approval 6 days prior to the sale date and wouldn't postpone. Fortunately we were able to close the day before the sale was scheduled. From now on. after taking an Ocwen listing, I will submit the 3rd party authorization and immediately schedule a call :)

Laura,

Funny part, authorization was submitted THREE times! more delays! Sales date has been postponed by attorney, so have some more time. But really, like I said before, I have had phone appointments, ( I think Citi) but they we like maybe 2 days!

You know what?  The last one I had with OCWEN that failed was over 18 months ago and they REFUSED The postpone the auction.  Guess what????  EIGHTEEN MONTHS LATER AND IT IS STILL SITTING THERE!!!!!!  Vacant, rotting away, no foreclosure.  They confuse the heck out of me.

Thanks Tara,

Yes, I dont understand why Ocwen is allowed to facilitate short sales, as I believe they are one of the bigger

REO companies as well. I may just run from the next Ocwen SS, but then again, I am crazy and like the challenge. Fortunately, I work with a good attorney that has gone and postponed the sales date, I have learned you cant leave it up to the servicers/inestors

All and all, thank you all for your input, Sometimes you think you are missing something, not informed, etc. This site and the people here, if anything, share thier experiences and make you feel a lot better, It is the "not just me" scenario! I may just consider doing an Ocwen blog! Heck, they deal with Freddie, not sure Fannie, US Treasury! My countries tax dollars!
