Kiss another listing goodbye. Another lender you will not be able to finish a file on is Homeq. Ocwen purchased HOMEQ and is outsourcing jobs to Ocwen Bombay and another country. I hope the hell our government is not paying these people a bonus for loss mitigation. Ocwen will not stop foreclosure sales and is difficult to work with. Just my opinion from years of experiance with both Homeq and Ocwen.

Does anyone have a senior contact at HomEq that they would share?
I have a HomEq negotiator who is overly eager to close out the file, contrary to all parties interests, including HomEq. I need an escalation contact to try to prevent stupid from happening.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Sorry, I've never been able to speak to a supervisor. They keep that info very private. They will NOT accept emails and docs take 2-3 days to get into their system.

Hi All. Does anyone have a direct contact number and ext to the Short Sale Dept Manager. I need to escalate the set up of a short file at HomeEq. Do they have email also? If so what is the what is the format of their emails? Thank you

How long to approve after paperwork is in? Very quick actually, i don't remember how long my last one was but i think it was a week or two.

Investor approval will take up to 14 business days from final submission if the offer is below a certain percentage of the loan balance.

There's no way to make final approval go faster. Our last deal with them, we were AT CLOSING and they were reviewing the final hud again and found that they forgot to do an INTERNAL BPO and cancelled the closing. They Ordered the new BPO, received it, and then it sat in their investor approval queue 13 business days out of the max of 14 days. In this instance, the negotiator "messed up" so you would expect an expedited approval, right? nope.

After all this, we still like HomeEQ deals. Make sure you have the homeowner fill out the additional documents in THEIR package.

Curtis, if they put on the approval that they will be sending a 1099, they CANNOT pursue for a judgment. That's the wording you will get from them and if you ask any attorney, they'll confirm.
