I need to escalate my file with Chase to have a negotiator assigned asap.  The SS fax was uploaded into their system on 3/1/2010.  I just called to get an update and what a surprise...a negotiator has not been assigned yet.  The last three calls with Chase have been the same...they say they have sent their manager an email to escalate the file internally to get a negotiator assigned.  This has been going on for two weeks now.  The SS packet is complete, the damn customer service reps pull it up to review everytime and the sale date has been postponed twice.  Does anyone have a contact at Chase I can email/call to make sure this is assigned asap?

Thanks!

Try Andrew Meade at fax 614-422-7259

I had to escalate my short sale with them because we were just days before the trustee sale was scheduled. Managed to get it postponed.

When you fax, provide all the pertinent info for the escalation.

And no surprise about not getting a negotiator. Each time I call, I get a different answer: yes, there is one assigned; no, no one is assigned yet...etc

Good luck!

Good luck.
Thanks Pacita, I'll give that a try.

Let me know what succes you have. My SSPacket was sent Januar 7, 2010. Supposedly it has been escalated twice. I think that's what the 'frontline' are supposed to say. A negotiator was assigned early March. I contacted him by FAX, email and phone. No response. After contacting another Negotiator, who emailed ours, ours contacted me and said they were really busy and would try to get to it as soon as possible. That was 12 days ago. His phone number registered as private when he called. Our Buyer has extended twice, there's a good possibility we will lose him! Margaret C.
We have tehse 2 numbers for higher ups:

888-310-7995 (Executive office for Chase)

Thank you Ben. I've taken note of these numbers. Unfortunately we lost our buyer. If we get another contract quickly can we continue on or do we have to start again?

Margaret -- I would STRONGLY suggest you NOT volunteer to Chase that the Buyer has walked, some negotiatiors will make you start your file over if they get wind of this.
BEST - let them continue processing your short sale while you seek a new Buyer. If you find a new Buyer, no worries, if you do not, and, the deal gets accepted, you can then change your listing to:
"Short sale approved at $________"

It has been our experience that listings like those get Buyers VERY quickly....all my best to you.
So here is my hold up. I submitted an offer to chase back in February along with all the documentation. Then was assigned a neg in April and had to resubmit all new financial documentation. In May Chase countered and buyer accepted. Was told the numbers looked great. After weeks of not hearing from the neg I contacted Executive office 888-310-7995. Was assigned to Debbie. Spoke to her couple times who said she will contact neg and get in touch with me... Now answer. Finally last week I heard from Maria the neg who said she should have an approval soon but need an updated BPO. BPO was completed and submitted to Chase on 6/10.

Again nego goes MIA. Called Debbie again at the neg office. She told me I need to "chill" out and just let it go through the process. Apparantly she saw BPO just ordered and thought it was in the early stages. Advised her if it was in the early stages I wouldnt be contacting the executive office. She then realize it's been in the works since February. She said she needs to research and get back to me

Anyways - any insights or can I call the executive office and ask to talk to someone other than Debbie? HELP please.

Thanks Ben, this really helped today.

Ben - How does one go about substituting a new buyer without telling them?

Patricia - Thanks for the contact info.  I just now sent Andrew a fax on a short sale where I have been told 3 different stories by three different people re: why we still don't have a negotiator yet.  I have had some of my fastest approvals ever with Chase, but all of a sudden, they have become slow and incompetent.
