Jeff - Just the standard stuff!
Chase requires a lot of patience!!!!
They are also very specific about where to fax the Letter of Authorization(LOA) so be sure to call first and get the right fax number. Fax after hours.
Just got a new authorization fax number as of yesterday
1-866-282-5682

Also Question The Chase package link seems to be more for a loan mod.
Am I correct it is now required for the short sale division as well?
Yes, I was told that the Loan Mod package must be used for short sales, too.

Does anyone have a good negociator at Chase for a Prime loan?
I just listed a short sale and Chase is the lender. Do I still need to use the Loan Mod packet and have my Seller complete all forms?
I spoke with Chase short sale department and they told me not to get the short sale package mixed up with the loan mod package. I asked them if I need the Homeowner Information package that you can download on their website, which says for you to use for both the short sale and loan mod and they said no. Which is it?

I was told by the short sale department yesterday to send the authorization letter form to 866 220-4130.

Hi Jeff-
I haven't found they need anything unusual except that I have a case where the LM asks me for updated stuff, "reviews" it for 30 days and then asks for updated stuff again "Current within the last 30 days" I try to be nice about it but Has anyone had this experience with Chase, or more specifically the LM Crystal Lockridge?
Hi, Jeffrey,
Nope, the guy I have dealt with on two shorts has never asked for updates of any kind. They do updates on the BPO, of course, but that doesn't require anything from me, except to meet the BPO broker at the site. When I initially asked him what he wanted in the short sale package (it never hurts to ask), he said he wanted pictures of the property, the HUD-1, the MLS sheet, and the contract, period. So, that's what I sent him. He never requested anything further from me, and each deal was done in about 45 days, with closing in about 60. Unfortunately, he works only in Colorado. If you are by chance in Colorado, I can give you his name and number. But, I haven't had a Chase short in a while, so things may have changed by now.

Best wishes,
Tracy Howard

Yes, I agree Chase does require LOTS of patience and persistence. the last short sale that I closed with them probably would have not gotten done if the seller weren't regularly on the phone with the bank.
