Hi All,

This is a tricky one and I was wondering if anyone else has had this situation.  The first lien holder is BofA.  We have an offer on the property that will more than cover the loan balance so it is not a short sale.  BofA has a trustee sale date of 2/21.  The second is with Chase and is short.  Obviously, the short sale with Chase will not be completed before the TS date.  Has anyone had any luck getting the TS date postponed in this situation, and if so, how did you do it?  Thank you as always wonderful Superstars for your help!!

As you state, you don't have much time to get this done - I suggest tweeting @BofA_Help and askign for their assistance.  It is better for BofA to postpone and get paid than to Foreclose.

Best of luck,

Thanks, Thom!  Believe it or not, I have never tweeted, so my next step is to figure out how to do it, LOL.

I have that same situation going on now - first with WF, second with BofA.  WF is cooperative and moving the sale date back for me when I've requested it.  They know it's a short with the second.  You should notify the Foreclosure Dept with the first as well as the attorney to request the sale date be moved back and why.  Going through both will cover your bases.  Good luck!

Thanks, Janie, good advice!  I solved my problem.  Per Thom's suggestion, I twittered BofA; however, before they even got a chance to respond,  their social media monitor called me and helped me out!  What a godsend!
