Short Sale Survey - Interesting Feedback
Hello everyone, this site (ShortSaleSuperstars) is awesome! I can't believe that I have not seen it sooner.
Recently I did a survey with agents here in Northern California, and I have to assume that the numbers should be consistent with the US, and one of the questions I asked was how long it takes for a short sale close from beginning to end and the answers were evenly split between 3-5 months and 5-7 months. Each answer got about 35% of the votes so far.
Another question was rating first and second lenders and it comes back with results of a rating between 1-5. ! being the worst, 5 the best. SO FAR, Wachovia comes in best with a 3.7 rating and guess who comes in last with a 2.0 rating? Chase.
In any case, it is a series of about 25 questions that takes about 10-15 minutes to take. When you have taken the survey, you can click to see updated reports and stats. Pretty interesting what other agents are saying and reporting. But the more agents that take this survey, the better and more telling that the results will be.
Please know that I am not selling any service or anything, there are no logos, no phone numbers or web-sites to link to (although after discovering this site, I was thinking of having a link to ShortSaleSuperstars.com). I am just a real estate agent trying to rally our industry and in hopefully getting answers and solutions to this mess.

Bingo! Here is the results page. But I want agents participating so I hope that people don't just go to results page without taking the survey.

I believe that there is an active results link that is updated in "real time".

Robert - I am proud that you took the step to create this! Question: how can someone check the results as they progress while you get responses?

Thanks Wendy! I think that based on what I am seeing, I believe I am somewhere around 200 closed short sales, the results and feedback I am getting from others is about what my team and I have experienced. What's interesting is that the more people/agents take this survey, the more true picture that it will paint.
