  Found out today that HELD means they dont have something in the package they require. They WONT tell you what it is, so if I were you, I would resubmit theh entire package and include all the elements. They will keep you in HELD. We did equator and it never said HELD. We moved quickly to a negotiator and then got stuck. Thanks to this forum, We complained to everyone we could find and then got it to a senior mitigator and now we are in negotiations with the MI company. We threatened to call CNN and the president. We filed complaints with OCC and BBB. YOu would not believe how my phone rang off the hook a day later. Try it, it works. When and IF they ever approve my shortsale, I will put all the info you need on this blog. It's been a horrible experience and almost a foreclosed home.

  Don't assume......get aggressive(not mean) just aggressive........HELD status is not a bad thing unless it goes on for months......Actually should not go over 4 weeks.....start escalating......if no response call the office of the president or email the office of the president........

  It just means more waiting. If you wait in Equator, you will NEVER get an answer. They dont care. You need to escalate to the next level.
