Bank of America Offering Up To $20,000 To Do A Florida Short Sale

Hi folks. There's a new Short Sale incentive just rolled out from Bank of America. Florida homeowners facing a Short Sale may qualify for up to $20,000 short sale incentive from Bank of America.

This email was sent out to agents late yesterday. This morning I called one of my potential sellers who was sitting on the fence about whether or not to do a short sale. She called Bank of America and they qualified her over the phone for $11,875!!

So.....if you are in Florida, need to do a Short Sale and have a mortgage with Bank of America give me a call today. This offer is for a limited time so don't hesitate. Bank of America is offering to help so take them up on their offer. Any questions?

Eric. I don't think there is a set way. One of my sellers initiated by calling the number in the email that was sent out. She was then sent several documents to complete and return. I was then contacted by a representative from DSI (dignified transition solutions) who asked me to send over a listing agreement. She would then order an appraisal and initiate the short sale in equator for me.

With another seller I had to initiate the short sale in equator.

But either way you cannot have an offer.

Bryant I had a seller call and they said that they had to initiate it 1st in equator and specify no offer then call in a get qualified. Is this true? I had given them the number that went out which is to customer care.

Maybe the seller has a government loan? VA, FHA and USDA do not qualify. The seller needs to call in and specifically ask for the Florida Enhanced Short Sale Relocation Assistance. I sent out a blast to my data base and have picked up 5 listings. The sellers, thus far, are getting from $2,000 to $14,000. It's very similar to their Co-op program.
