I am being told that Chase will only pay the HAFA incentive to the seller or the buyers closing costs it is one or the other. Has anyone had a buyer that is FHA or VA and needs 3% of the purchase price towards closing costs and still was able to get HAFA and the seller incentive of 3K? I have closed many HAFA short sales but never with Chase... What's the trick?
We have a Nationstar 1st and lender is trying to reduce our comm. First they said it was bank policy and we sent them a HUD showing 6% comm. Now they are saying it is investor requirement. is Bank of NY Mellon. Does anyone have a Lender approval letter, HUD closing statement showing Bank of NY Mellon as the investor paying 6% comm. Anyone willing to share their information with me?
Thank you so much.
Most MLS boards have a FNMA help desk. I would try that. Check out the link below. Also, call the law firm that is doing the foreclosure. See if they can get a message to their investor/servicer client.

HELP - Have an approved short sale - lender had an underwriting issue and needs to close on Friday - Wells/FNMA is going to fv Thursday - anybody have a contact at FNMA or a suggestion?
I do all the work and the attorneys I work with always get paid $1500 and sometimes $2000. Although I should say that I am in Fairfield CT, which means attorneys will do the closing, not a Title Company. If you have settlement to the Title Company in the HUD, then it may be different. We use "settlement" for our attorney's fees. I hope someone dealing with Title Companies will be able to help you better...
I think I have been wearing out my recommended attorney for short sale closings for the seller- as he is raising his fee. He currently gets paid $500 by the lenders. I thought I saw this before as a typical cap, but he has gotten them to pay more. Has anyone gotten higher with any lender? Thanks!
I do not have the number. do you?
It is a Fannie loan
PLEASE HELP ME!!!
I have been calling Suntrust daily and I can't get anyone to answer the phone. I have left numerous messages, and not one call back. Does anyone have a contact at Suntrust that they would be so kind as to share?
Ask your negotiator and call FNMA to further verify.
