Sellers order water service so buyers can do inspection.


After escrow closed, buyers never transfer their service into their name and now 2 months later sellers still receive the water bills.  Sellers ask for buyers to reimburse, but buyers wont pay.

What should my sellers do?  Need some guidance.  Thanks,

Bonnie. The seller needs to disconnect the service. They should have done this right after closing. Nothing they can do. Disconnect. Pay the bills and move on.

pay the outstanding, turn it off, learn.

What's the question??  The Seller is no longer responsible for the property..turn off all utilities.  They should have done it at COE like a regular sale!  Good-bye to those 2 months..
