Have a file STUCK in UTLS HAFA review- BOA wont help!
This property was submitted to UTLS for HAFA review on 10/8- 9 weeks ago. I just called them to get the status and it has not been touched. They were asking if all of the paperwork has been submitted and yes, we submitted it 9 WEEKS AGO! The problem is, the property is scheduled to go to auction on 1/4 and my seller found this out over the weekend when he called in. Someone told him that a letter of notification of the sale went out 11/14, but then he was told the letter was never sent. The notification process for this foreclosure has clearly not been handled as the law states it must. There is no way we will be able to get this file approved through HAFA, then through the investors in time at this rate. When I call the shortsale support number, they swear there is no one that can intervene on behalf of THEIR customer to THEIR client!! Anyone have any suggestions? I sent an email through equator to everyone on the email list and UTLS said they would have a SR. negotiator call me but im not holding my breath-

UTLS is backed up - they're 6 months behind. Send me the Trustee Sale number and I'll see what the actual sale date is and if they have set a minimum bid (the kiss of death).

Amiee - what's UTLS? I am getting ready to do a Fannie Mae HAFA & want to see if I have to worry about UTLS as well as BoA. Thanks, Jennie

UTLS is one of the 4 outside companies they have hired to do their HAFA review. Two of the others are LRC and Promiss Solutions, not sure what the fourth one is. LRC has been OK, Promiss Solutions I havent worked with. The most frustrating thing is that no one will help you if you get stuck in a loop like i am.

I have a file with Loan Resolution Corp doing the HAFA for BOA. Do you have an escalation person at LRC or BOA HAFA. Out Asset Manager said he submitted the file to BOA SSOT .....we can't find a person at BOA that knows that dept. Our offer is $102,000 they countered at $112,000. We sent comp on condo unit in the complex that got our buyer and just closed for $100,000. Our sale is 12/17 To top it off, we sibmitted to BOA on 5/13 then HAFA on 7/6.
We never had such a run around before!!! -
