Always good to know up front how many payments have been missed, and, at what point the loan goes to charge off status.

Once this happens, it CAN be a blessing, or, a total nightmare.....

I would first call LTD and see where they stand on getting you an approval and report back here.

Hi Ben & Melissa I too have this problem. I have the first w/BofA and I've got my SS approval letter from them ok'ing $3,000 to go to the 2nd. I'm working with AIC Corp because when I called Citifinancial they told me they charged off the 2nd almost a year and a half ago. I've been working with a rep @ this AIC Corp, but the last 2 weeks he has been totalling doggin' me. Is this a case where since Citi charged it off, I don't have to worry about it?

Hey...Good News, Bad News...HELP STILL NEEDED

thank you all for your help, they reversed the "charge off" and put the 2nd back with 1st...now bad news...I am really good with negotiators but I think mine is not yet well-versed in getting answers...we previously had 1st approval but now I need them to sign off on 1st/2nd together...she has not even responded...these buyers will walk if I can't wrap this up by Friday...anyone have Manager Numbers for 1st Mortgage SS Negotiators I can speak with today? Seller will file BK if this does not work out...yup-so I have my one last shot deal here...and it is a good offer...HELP AGAIN APPRECIATED
