Quick question...

We finally got an approval on a short sale after 6 months. We have a scheduled closing date of 7/10/10 which on a saturday... Do banks do closings on saturdays?

No they do not only Monday through Friday. The loan most likely will fund the day before and it is in your client's best interest not to fund on Friday and close on a Monday since the buyer's will be paying interest over the weekend.

Depends on the state which the home is located. Please remember that the people in the SS dept don't know all the laws in all the States. If your State does not do closings on Saturday you need to let them know to move it to the following Monday or close on that Friday before.
