I have an appraisal question

I have an appraisal question. I have done several short sales with BOA and was toldI can just ask for a copy of the appraisal and received it. I have another one and just asked and he commented back in EQ that, that he knows for a fact that is incorrect and that they are not allowed to. Other banks have also given them to me. Is it because they were FHA and this one is not????

Never been given a copy... Not even when I've disputed.

I have never been able to get appraisals from any lenders. FHA or not.

They are required to provide a copy for a FHA PFS.

Provide a copy of the appraisal to the homeowner, sales agent, or HUD, upon request.

Yes I've been given a copy on FHA files.

FHA they will tell you .. otherwise they usually will not.
